Will your import file actually import?
Built the spreadsheet by hand? Each of these three destinations refuses files for reasons it does not explain. This checks yours against the published format and tells you exactly which row and column will bite — before your software does.
Your file is read in memory and discarded when the page renders. It is never written to disk, never stored, and never sent to an AI model. Nothing here leaves the server.
What it checks, per destination
Drake

- Whether description, date and cost sit where Drake looks — a column inserted upstream shifts every field after it, and Drake imports it without an error
- Dates as MMDDYYYY text, not Excel date cells
- Money columns free of

Lacerte
CSV, never XLSX
- File type — the import reads .CSV and .XLS and simply does not offer .xlsx
- Header labels present, since the import is a mapping wizard
- Category as a number 1–8, not a name
